Windows Vista Certification
In January of 2007 Microsoft released Exam 70-620 TS: Microsoft Windows Vista. Through this certification exam an IT professional gains training on how to become an expert in working with the Vista operating system, earning their Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certification.

Microsoft has clearly stated their target audience for the MCTS certification is individuals who have worked closely with network connectivity, security, and network applications.
One of the questions which many IT professionals want to know is if this exam might replace the MCSE or MCSA exams. I havent been able to come up with a clear answer that proves this will be the case. There is speculation that yes, the popular MCSE 2003 Training exam could be replaced; however Microsoft hasnt stated that this will happen. What we do know for sure is that the IT industry is constantly changing and trying to develop more efficient manners to solve and answer problems. Vista is a crack at this from Microsoft in my opinion, and though right now it may not be the most popular operating system, it has the potential to be the direction of companies in the future.
